And who can do that better than our employees themselves. Today we let Freya have her say. She is Fleet Manager SBO at TraXall Belgium.
Freya graduated from the University of Applied Sciences with a degree in hotel management. During internships and holiday jobs, customer service was always central. “After my first work experience in a coworking company, I came to TraXall Belgium via an employment agency. That was 3.5 years ago now. And I still find the job interesting,” says Freya.
Manage the entire ordering process
“As Fleet Manager SBO, which stands for Selection, Bidding & Ordering, we manage the entire ordering process of the new car of our customers’ drivers. This means, among other things, helping the driver to put together the new car in our Configurator tool, updating this database and also speaking to the drivers when they have questions. As soon as a driver has chosen his car, we contact the garages, request quotations from leasing companies and keep the contact persons at our customers informed. Once the car is ready, we contact the driver and complete the entire ordering process”.
Rapidly changing sector
According to Freya, a good fleet manager is customer-focused, communicative and language-skilled and has an excellent organisational talent for consulting with multiple parties and working with different systems.
She adds: “I work in a young team in a company full of challenges as the automotive sector is changing rapidly: new models, new CO2 legislation and the increasing focus on a green fleet of electric cars and plug-in hybrid cars. Every day therefore looks different.
And a great birthday present
“There’s definitely time for fun at TraXall,” Freya adds. “When a new colleague is hired, we eat pizza or pancakes together, we also go on annual team building with everyone and when it’s your birthday, you always get a nice gift. That’s really cool!
