Expansion complicates management

The rapid expansion of Group S, whose fleet has grown from 120 to 220 vehicles, has highlighted the limits of in-house management. Marie explains: ‘With this growing complexity, it was difficult to maintain effective in-house management. Added to this was the move to an electric fleet, which required a review of processes and a focus on TCO (Total Cost of Ownership).

Analyse and standardise

TraXall responded to these challenges with a clear, structured approach during a consultancy assignment with Bart Van Elsacker, Consulting & Project Manager at TraXall Belgium. ‘Bart helped us analyse the transition to an entirely electric fleet. As a result, we also switched to TCO2-based budgets instead of leasing budgets,’ explains Marie.

TraXall not only standardised the processes, but also took into account the specific characteristics of Group S. ‘TraXall also adapted the procedures to our car policy. We went from a light version to a standardised version with clear rules. This gives us peace of mind and guarantees fair agreements with all drivers,’ explains Marie.

Since the partnership began, a number of key benefits have become clear: ‘TraXall’s tools are very intuitive and offer a clear overview,’ says Marie. ‘This is important in an environment where we already use many different platforms.’

Finally, Group S is very satisfied with TraXall’s proactive approach. ‘During weekly meetings we monitor progress, adapt solutions according to needs and improve the driver experience,’ explains Marie.In addition, the new car policy ensures greater equality. ‘Thanks to clear, uniform rules, all employees are treated in the same way. This ensures consistent management,’ adds Marie.
